Swatch Requests
Swatches may be requested by email or by calling B & J directly. If you are trying to match a particular color, we recommend that you send a sample to our office. Sample requests are handled as soon as is possible, with most requests fulfilled within 10 business days. For a $5.00 charge, your swatch request will be processed and mailed within 2 business days. Samples are sent via USPS unless otherwise specified by you, the customer. Certain fabrics are not available for sampling, and there are 5 samples allowed per request. Please use the extensive images available on our site to help streamline your requests. Note that due to overwhelming requests, we have been forced to impose a $0.50 charge per sample.
Return Policy
Returns are not permitted after goods have been cut. We recommend requesting a sample before purchasing goods from our online store.
In-Store Student Swatching Policy
Local students may swatch the first hour of each business day. Out of state students may show their school ID to swatch in-store during the day. Further information on the student swatching policy is available in our store.
Shipping Policy
Free ground shipping is available within the United States. Overnight, 2-day, and 3-day shipping are available and are charged based on the weight, size, and value of the package. FedEx International Priority shipping is a flat fee of $50.00. International shipping does not include any duties, taxes, or fees levied by the destination country.
Wholesale Discounts
A discount of 10% is applied to any single cut of fabric that is 10 or more yards. A discount of 15% is applied to any single cut of fabric that is 50 or more yards. A discount of 20% is applied to any single cut of fabric that is 100 or more yards. Larger yardages may be discussed with a store manager. Discounts are applicable only to a single cut of goods. For example, an order of 10 yards of muslin would earn a 10% discount, but an order of 5 yards of corduroy and 5 yards of silk chiffon would not.
